The MILESTONES Book Project
MILESTONES is the creation of a book full of memories, events, and experiences that have occured during Celine's Taking Chances World Tour. The book will be printed in full colour and will consist of approximately 80-100 pages of fan memories submitted by fans from around the world, as well as special Celine events that have happened throughout the course of the tour year.
The project itself will take several months to complete. After collecting all of the information needed for the fan pages, each individual page will need to be made. In addition, the other Celine pages will also need to be completed. After completing all of the pages, the order will need to be sent into the printing company to get printed and then have the orders sent to back CDC, which can take up to 30 business days. The MILESTONES book will be distributed throughout Canada and the United States. All pre-orders must be submitted before March 2009. Each copy will be shipped to the buyers during the summer months (June-August 2009). The book itself will cost around $39.99 (shipping not included) for those who wish to purchase a copy.
In order to ensure success of this project, Celine Dion Canada is searching for fans from around the world to contribute their concert experiences as well as their favourite Celine song and how they came to be a fan. Again, each copy of the book will cost $38.99 (CAD) (shipping not included). The reason for this price is because it will be printed on high quality paper and binded together with a hardcover finish, enabling it to remain undamaged for a longer period of time. The book will be available for all Canadian and U.S. residents once it is ready for distribution. The book will also be available to those who have contributed to the book regardless of location.
